My family moved to a somewhat-neglected block of Riviera Bay in fall of 2019 and spent the next 2 years beautifying our home, which seemed to set off a domino effect when our neighbors started doing the same. Our neighborhood is now thriving, two neglected homes were completely remodeled, we have a brand-new home almost finished, and our neighbors who just relocated were able to sell their non-waterfront home for over 500k!
I’ve always been an active volunteer and leader, from my early days on my children’s PTO and coaching soccer, to serving at the state level of a non-profit organization. In the past 5 years I’ve organized 10 conferences and multiple membership groups and even created a brand-new online community DURING the pandemic that grew to over 450 members.
I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to serve Riviera Bay during my first term as a board member, where I organized the Easter Egg Hunt, helped with the Fall Festival, created the southern route of the golf cart parade, and stepped up to serve as Vice-President when our past President resigned.
If re-elected, I’ll continue to bring my gift of helping organizations and the people within them work better together guided by a shared purpose, and keep bringing fun at each event!
People grow through experience if they meet life honestly and courageously. This is how character is built.
