Our Extinct Wildlife: Who Are We Missing in Florida?

Hosted by the Weedon Island Preserve Cultural and Natural History Center: Florida’s wildlife is unique and diverse, but sadly some species have gone extinct. Join us for a webinar with Senior Wildlife Biologist Jeanne Murphy to remember the South Florida Rainbow Snake, Florida Fairy Shrimp, Dusky Seaside Sparrow, Bachman’s Warbler, Ivory-billed woodpecker, and even the Caribbean Monk Seal. Help us protect the wildlife that still thrives in Florida by spreading awareness and advocating for conservation efforts. This program is sponsored by the Friends of Weedon Island (FOWI).
